As Europe continues to struggle with low economic growth, boosting trade links with the rest of the world is one potential tool that could take the EU out of the current slump. What are the remaining obstacles preventing the EU from expanding its global trading opportunities, in particular in Asia? To what extent do EU environmental laws impact on trade between the two regions? Is global free trade a threat to, or a necessary precondition for, growth and jobs in Europe?
Places are limited. If you would like to attend the debate, please RSVP (until Feb. 28th) to Globalization Institute on instytut@globalizacja.org
